Associate Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award
The Associate Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award was established in 2000 by Æðµã´«Ã½’s political action committee, BUILD-PAC, to recognize the most outstanding Associate member advocate on the local, state and national levels. The award acknowledges an Associate member who is ardently loyal and diligently fundraises for BUILD-PAC.
Award recipients are selected based on their demonstrated BUILD-PAC advocacy, including leadership roles in BUILD-PAC fundraising at the local, state and national level; efforts to increase Associate members’ understanding of the importance of BUILD-PAC and to encourage grassroots participation and growth; and overall enthusiasm and service.
A panel of three judges — comprising a past Æðµã´«Ã½ Associate Members Committee chair, BUILD-PAC subcommittee chair and BUILD-PAC subcommittee vice chair — review the nominations received and select a recipient based on the aforementioned criteria.
Each local may submit one nominee for each award directly to Æðµã´«Ã½. State HBAs can submit one nominee for each award directly to Æðµã´«Ã½ as well.
The award is presented at the Æðµã´«Ã½ International Builders’ Show.
